THE SCHEDULE

APRIL 19 | ARRIVAL IN SOUTHPORT
Touch down at Manchester Airport where your driver will meet you at 5:00 PM. From there, head to The Waterfront Hotel in Southport, your home for the next five nights. Settle in by the seaside, meet the crew, and toast the week ahead at our Welcome Dinner.

APRIL 2O | ROYAL BIRKDALE
Kick things off with one of the crown jewels of The Open rota. Royal Birkdale has hosted the Championship 10 times and counting, with its towering dunes and demanding fairways. With The Open returning here in just three months, you’ll play with grandstands going up around you — an unforgettable way to start the week.

APRIL 21 | ROYAL LIVERPOOL (HOYLAKE)
Steeped in tradition, Hoylake has staged The Open 13 times, most recently in 2023. You’ll tee it up where champions like Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy lifted the Claret Jug. After your round, enjoy a jacket & tie lunch in the clubhouse — a nod to the club’s heritage and the history you’ll now be part of.

APRIL 22 | HILLSIDE GOLF CLUB
Neighbor to Birkdale and a favorite of legends like Seve, Hillside is known for its dramatic dunes, sweeping holes, and constant changes in direction. One of the UK’s best “non-rota” courses, it’s a test of creativity and shot-making that will have you grinning (or grinding) all day.

APRIL 23 | FORMBY & WALLASEY
A 36-hole day for the books. Morning golf at Formby — a unique blend of linksland and pine forest, offering a rare hybrid of settings. Afternoon at Wallasey, where the Stableford scoring system was born, forever changing the game. These two rounds show just how diverse and soulful golf can be in this part of England.

APRIL 24 | Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club
Finish with one of the game’s great challenges. Known for its 200+ bunkers and tough-but-fair design, Royal Lytham has crowned champions from Bobby Jones to Seve. Don’t miss the famous halfway hut — its sausage rolls are as legendary as the course itself. After your round, check into The Grand Hotel in Lytham and join the crew for our Awards Dinner to close out the week.

APRIL 24 | DEPARTURE
Say goodbye to England’s Golf Coast. Transfers will take you to Manchester Airport for your journey home. You’ll leave with stories, friendships, and the satisfaction of knowing you just played some of the most historic links in the world.

Absolutely. Many of our participants sign up solo. You’ll be paired with fellow RGC Members, and by the end of the trip, you’ll have a whole new crew.
Nope. All skill levels are welcome. We just ask that you keep a good pace, play respectfully, and embrace the game. We use a double-bogey max scoring system to keep things moving and fun for everyone.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to lock in your spot. The remaining balance is due by December 31, 2025.
If you need to cancel after that, refunds are only available if we can fill your spot. If we do, you’ll receive a refund of the balance minus a 7% processing fee. The deposit remains non-refundable.
