Fossil Trace is one of the few public courses in the country where the geology is the story. The dinosaur tracks are real and you can walk right up to them. It's the kind of detail that puts the round in perspective before you've even teed off.

The altitude is going to send the ball further than you're used to. Take a club less on approach. The greens hold less than you'd hope. All part of it.

PLAYER'S PASS: $75.00

A hundred deep on a course that looks like nothing else on the schedule. Thin air, ancient rock, fifteen yards you didn't have. Enjoy them.

SPECTATOR'S PASS: $10.00

Come walk it for the geology if nothing else. Fossil Trace is one of the few golf courses where the land is the story. Bring a camera. Make sure it's charged.
