How much does the new app cost?
Most features inside the new app are absolutely free of charge.
There are some features (e.g. the games functionality whereby members can schedule competitive and recreational rounds of golf with other members) that require Pro Membership. That membership tier is available at the low cost of $2.99/mo and RGC members can upgrade to it by making an in-app purchase.
In order to allow RGC members to make an informed decision about upgrading to Pro Membership, all members who download the app will have access to a 30-day free trial of all of the features of Pro Membership.
How does the free trial of Pro Membership work?
As mentioned above, all new app users will automatically begin their new RGC app experience with a 30-day free trial of Pro Membership.
Rest assured, you absolutely, positively WILL NOT be automatically billed at the end of the 30-day free trial. You will be given the option to opt-in or opt-out of Pro Membership at the end of your free trial.
I am a Pro/Legacy member. Will the new app honor my existing membership status?Yes. Existing app users will need to create a new account in order to use the new RGC app.
Absolutely. Existing Pro Members will receive a full year of Pro Membership inside of the new app and Legacy Members will receive lifetime access to Pro Membership as promised in their initial Legacy Membership purchase.
