This is Texas golf in its purest form. Pine Dunes offers the kind of round that sneaks up on you. At first it feels simple, almost gentle. Then you start to notice the angles, the slopes, the way certain greens nudge your ball into places you swear you didn’t aim.

THE HISTORY
Pine Dunes opened in 2001, designed by Jay and Carter Morrish, a father-son duo responsible for some of the most thoughtful modern routings in the country. Their goal here was simple: create a championship-caliber golf course that still feels welcoming and playable for every golfer who steps onto the first tee.
The land itself did half the work. Natural dunes, sandy soil, and endless stands of longleaf pines shaped the routing into something that feels equal parts rugged and refined. Wide corridors give you freedom off the tee, while greens move just enough to keep you guessing. The bunkering is bold without being excessive, and the Morrish shaping makes every approach feel meaningful.

No. RGC Classics are built for all skill levels. We do cap playing handicaps at 18 for men and 28 for women to keep the competition fair.
Yes. We’ll pair you with another RGC Member. Most friendships start on the first tee anyway.

Definitely. Just be mindful of other players and the pace of play. We’ll also have an event photographer sharing photos after the round.

Caddies depend on the course and are optional. They are not included in the ticket price.
