Random Golf Club’s newest Major is heading to the heart of central Wisconsin for a four-day golf experience at Sand Valley Resort—one of the premier golf destinations in the U.S. With 89 holes of extraordinary golf, we’ll be teeing it up at Mammoth Dunes, The Lido, The Sandbox, Sedge Valley, and the resort’s namesake course, Sand Valley. Each course, from the towering mountains of sand of Mammoth Dunes to the strategic genius of The Lido, offers its own unique challenge and stunning views.

Sand Valley is where creativity meets championship golf, blending nature and golf architecture seamlessly. This Major is a celebration of community, camaraderie, and the game we love—set against the backdrop of pristine conditions and jaw-dropping vistas.

Arrival

Arrive at the Sand Valley Resort where you can settle into your accommodations. Breakfast will be served before your round.

Mammoth Dunes

Designed by David McLay Kidd, this course is a rollercoaster of wide fairways, thrilling approach shots, and stunning views of the Wisconsin landscape. Its dramatic contours and bold greens make it as visually striking as it is fun to play.

The Lido

The much-anticipated revival of C.B. Macdonald’s lost masterpiece. With strategic brilliance and stunning recreation, The Lido will test your shot-making ability and creativity.

The Sandbox

Designed by Coore & Crenshaw, this 17-hole short course has some of the most dynamic green complexes on the property. The Sandbox is all about fun, so be ready for some friendly competition with the group.

Sedge Valley

Prepare for a different pace at Sedge Valley, Tom Doak’s homage to the classic heathland courses of London. With an intimate routing and small greens, Sedge Valley emphasizes strategy and precision. Each hole presents a unique challenge that rewards creativity and shot-making over brute strength.

Sand Valley

Designed by Coore & Crenshaw, Sand Valley is a minimalist masterpiece featuring firm, fast fairways and expansive sandscapes that evoke the essence of Pinehurst.

These are not just rounds of golf; they are opportunities to walk in the footsteps of champions and experience the true spirit of links golf.

  • Luxury Accommodations: Rest easy at some of Ireland’s finest hotels, including The Grafton Hotel, Slieve Donard, and the Golf Links Hotel, Portrush. FAQs

How many spots can I purchase?

A maximum of four spots can be purchased per member. Email shop@randomgolflcub.com for larger group inquiries.

Can I register as a single?

Absolutely! Singles will be paired with other Members of the trip.

Are there any handicap or skill level requirements?

Golfers of all skill levels are welcome. We ask that you play respectfully, have fun, and keep up with the pace of play. A double-bogey max scoring system will be in place.

What is the payment and cancellation policy?

Refunds are only available if your spot can be filled by another Member with a 7% processing fee.

What is not included?

Airfare, caddie fees, and meals other than those specified.

What if I’m a Legacy Member?

There are reserved spots for Legacy Members in the 24 hour booking window. RGC Majors and Classics are not eligible for Member Discounts.

What if I’m a Pro Member?

Pro Members will receive priority reservations over Base Members in the 24 hour booking window. RGC Majors and Classics are not eligible for Member Discounts.
