THE SCHEDULE

September 06 | Arrival

Arrival into Dublin Airport. From there we head straight for the coast and our first taste of Irish links golf at Jameson Golf Links, where the trip officially begins.

After the round we make our way into the heart of the city and check into the Mercantile Hotel, our home in Dublin for the next three nights.

That evening we gather together for a welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

September 07 | Portmarock

After breakfast we head to Portmarnock Golf Club, one of Ireland’s most revered championship links.

Often mentioned as a future Open Championship venue, Portmarnock’s Championship Course sits on a narrow peninsula between the Irish Sea and Baldoyle Bay. Firm turf, coastal winds, and a layout that has challenged great players for over a century make it one of the purest tests of links golf anywhere in the world.

September 08 | Royal Dublin

This morning we cross Dublin Bay to Bull Island for a round at Royal Dublin Golf Club, one of the oldest and most storied clubs in Ireland.

Originally founded in 1885 and later refined by legendary architect Harry Colt, Royal Dublin is a classic out-and-back links where the Irish Sea is never far from view. Subtle greens, natural dunes, and ever-present coastal winds make this a thoughtful and traditional test of links golf.

After the round we return to Dublin for our final evening in the city before heading west the following morning toward Ireland’s Wild Atlantic coast.

September 09 | Carne

After breakfast we leave Dublin behind and make our way west toward Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way. Waiting for us there is Carne Golf Links, one of the most dramatic landscapes in Irish golf.

Set among towering dunes along the edge of the Atlantic, Carne feels wonderfully remote with wild terrain, sweeping views, and golf that moves naturally through the land.

After the round we continue on to Ballina, where we check into the Ballina Manor Hotel for a three-night stay as we begin our stretch along Ireland’s Atlantic coast.

September 10 | Connemara

A scenic day continuing along Ireland’s rugged Atlantic coastline for a round at Connemara Links, one of the most scenic courses in the country.

Set between the Twelve Bens mountains and the Atlantic Ocean, Connemara is a wild and unforgettable piece of links land. The course weaves through natural dunes and rocky terrain, with a back nine that is often considered one of the most spectacular stretches of golf in Ireland.

After the round we return to Ballina for another evening along the Wild Atlantic coast.

September 11 | Strandhill & County Sligo

Our 36-hole day along Ireland’s Atlantic coast.

We begin the morning at Strandhill Golf Club, a beloved local links tucked into the dunes beside the Atlantic. Often described as one of Ireland’s great hidden gems, Strandhill offers wild scenery, natural terrain, and golf that feels deeply connected to the landscape.

In the afternoon we make the short journey around the estuary to County Sligo Golf Club at Rosses Point, a classic championship links with sweeping views across Sligo Bay.

September 12 | Enniscrone

Our final round of the journey takes us to Enniscrone Golf Club, one of the most dramatic links landscapes in Ireland. Towering dunes and sweeping views of Killala Bay make this a fitting final day on the Atlantic coast.

Shane Lowry once called Enniscrone “the best course in Ireland, off the beaten track.” A bold and unforgettable links, it’s the perfect stage for our last round together.

Following the round we’ll gather for a three-course awards dinner at the club to celebrate the week. That evening we make our way back to Dublin for one final night at the Mercantile Hotel.

September 13 | Departure

This morning we say our goodbyes and depart at leisure for Dublin Airport, bringing to a close a week of links golf, Atlantic winds, and unforgettable memories.

THE WILD ATLANTIC LINKS

Eight rounds across Ireland’s legendary courses—towering dunes, rugged coastline, ancient clubs, and windswept fairways along the edge of the Atlantic.

More Than Just a Round

What to expect

RGC Majors are our most immersive experiences. Multi-day stretches of golf, community, and storytelling in places that redefine what the game can be. Ireland is one of them. A country where golf lives along the edge of the Atlantic, shaped by wind, towering dunes, and centuries of tradition. Ancient links stretch between coastal villages and rugged shoreline, where the game feels deeply tied to the land itself. This is a journey across one of golf’s most storied landscapes.

Golf at the Northern Edge
Eight rounds across some of Ireland’s most storied links, each offering its own expression of the game. From the championship test at Portmarnock to the historic grounds of Royal Dublin, from the towering dunes of Carne and Enniscrone to the rugged Atlantic beauty of Connemara and Strandhill, every round feels shaped by land, wind, and time. These courses do not ask to be conquered. They ask to be understood. Shot-making, imagination, and patience matter here. The wind is part of the game. So is the ground beneath your feet. No two rounds ever feel the same. And that’s exactly the point.

Your Stay, Seamlessly Anchored
The journey begins in the heart of Dublin, where we stay at the historic Mercantile Hotel, just steps from the city’s pubs, restaurants, and culture. Midweek we travel west to Ballina along Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way, settling in at the Ballina Manor Hotel as we explore some of the most dramatic links on the Atlantic coast. Breakfast is ready each morning. Transportation is handled throughout the trip. All you have to do is play the golf and experience the journey.

The RGC Community, Elevated
This Major is as much about who you travel with as where you play. Shared pints after the round, long walks along the coast, and conversations that carry on well past sunset. Ireland has a way of slowing things down, pulling people closer, and turning a round of golf into something you’ll remember long after the final putt drops. Add the RGC community, and the trip becomes something larger than the scorecard. Memories formed through shared moments in a place that feels far removed from everyday life.
