THE SCHEDULE
October 18 | Arrival
Arrive at Auckland International Airport and make your way to the Hilton on the waterfront at Princes Wharf. Enjoy leisure time to explore the city. Gather for a welcome dinner at a local restaurant.
October 19 | Titirangi
After breakfast, we head out for our first round in New Zealand at Titirangi, an Alister MacKenzie gem tucked into the hills of Auckland. After 18, we keep the day rolling with a special 4-hole Mad Scramble, a quick-hit format built for laughs, competition, and meeting local golfers on their home turf.
October 20 | Te Arai South Course
We start the day in Auckland with a stop at Win the Day, run by local golfer Issac Madsen, before continuing on to the world-famous Te Arai for a round on the South Course, the one you have seen with surfers getting barrelled as putts drop along the dunes. After golf, we will stay on-site at Te Arai in the ocean view rooms.
October 21 | Te Arai North Course
A full day at Te Arai’s North Course, set on a wild stretch of coastline where rolling dunes meet the open Pacific and the horizon feels endless. After the round, the afternoon is open for a reset, swim in the ocean, take a long coastal walk, or simply unwind. If you are feeling ambitious, you can ask about a replay round (not included in the cost).
October 22 | Windross Farms
An early day at Windross Farm, a quietly special stop that blends great golf with real local perspective. Each group will be joined by the club’s golf manager, Sam Chapman, for three holes, sharing the history of the property and the kind of course knowledge that makes every shot feel more intentional. After the round, we travel onward and settle in at Hilton Lake Taupo for two nights, resetting for the next stretch of the Major.
October 23 | Kinloch & Wairakei
The 36-hole day, a full immersion into two of New Zealand’s most memorable courses. We start with an early shotgun at Kinloch, a Jack Nicklaus design that moves through wide-open landscapes with big sky views. In the afternoon, we settle into Wairakei, a beautifully tree-lined course with a calmer, more classic feel.
October 24 | Cape Kidnappers
This day is all about Cape Kidnappers, a course so visually iconic it has become one of the most photographed in the world from the air. Set high above the sea with fairways running along dramatic cliffs, it delivers a kind of scale and atmosphere that makes every shot feel cinematic. This is also the site of Stu’s hole in one, a little piece of RGC lore tucked into the landscape. After the round, we head into Napier and check in at the Scenic Hotel for the night.
October 25 | Paraparaumu Beach
We close the week at Paraparaumu Beach, ranked No. 2 in New Zealand, with a proper links day on one of the country’s most storied stretches of turf. Wind, sand, and fast-running fairways create a round that feels pure and timeless, a fitting finale to the Major. That evening, we check in for our final night in Wellington and gather for the awards dinner to celebrate the week, the golf, and the shared experience.
October 26 | Departure
Depart at your leisure to Wellington Airport, closing out a week defined by unforgettable golf, awe-inspiring landscapes, and the kind of shared memories that stay with you long after you land back home.

More Than Just a Round
What to expect
RGC Majors are our most immersive experiences. Multi-day stretches of golf, community, and storytelling in places that redefine what the game can be. New Zealand is one of them. A place where golf lives inside dramatic, ever-changing landscapes, shaped by wild coastlines, towering peaks, and geothermal earth that still feels alive. From sea air to alpine horizons, this is a journey across an entire country, diverse, cinematic, and unforgettable.
Golf in Aotearoa
Eight rounds across New Zealand’s most celebrated courses, each offering a different expression of the game. From dune-backed links where the Pacific is always in view to clifftop golf that feels almost unreal, from inland layouts shaped by wide-open landscapes to classic tree-lined tests, every round feels distinct and unforgettable. These courses do not reward autopilot. They reward imagination.
Your Stay, Seamlessly Anchored
This Major travels from Auckland to Wellington, with comfort anchored into the rhythm of the week. A mix of great hotels and on-site lodging keeps everything easy, with breakfast each morning and two group dinners that bookend the experience, a welcome night at the start and an awards dinner to close it out.
The RGC Community, Elevated
This Major is as much about who you travel with as where you play. Coastal drives, post-round dinners in new cities, and conversations that stretch late into the night. New Zealand has a way of opening space around you — big sky, big landscapes, big perspective. Add the RGC community, and the week becomes something far greater than a collection of tee times. It becomes shared walks across dunes, stories traded over breakfast, laughter after long days, and bonds formed in a place that feels wonderfully far from everyday life.
